Harp lessons,
online and in Dublin

Learn harp with a teacher who has dedicated her career to the instrument. Grace Galligan is a professional harpist and former Programme Coordinator at Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland, the national body for the harp in Ireland — giving her rare depth across both classical and traditional Irish harp.

Lessons are built around you: classical technique and grade preparation, or traditional Irish repertoire on lever harp, played by ear in the old style. Grace holds an MSc in Music Performance from the University of Limerick and has performed harp at weddings, concerts and on RTÉ and TG4.

Who this is for
Children and adults, complete beginners through to advanced players, exam candidates or hobbyists.
Common questions

Harp lessons,
answered.

Do I need my own harp to start?

No. Beginners often start on a keyboard or borrowed harp while deciding whether to invest. Grace can advise on renting or buying a lever harp when you're ready.

Can adults learn harp from scratch?

Yes. Many of Grace's students are adult beginners — one started at 60 and now reads music and plays by ear. It is never too late.

Traditional Irish harp or classical harp?

Both. Lessons are tailored to whether you want classical technique and grades, or traditional Irish repertoire played by ear.

Can I learn harp online?

Yes — Grace teaches harp students worldwide over video, with the same lesson structure as in person.
