Grace Galligan is a multiple All-Ireland Champion on the uilleann pipes, awarded at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann — one of the highest honours in Irish traditional music. She teaches all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to players refining competition-level technique.
The pipes have a reputation for being hard to approach without the right teacher. Grace breaks down bag and bellows control, chanter fingering and ornamentation — cuts, rolls, popping — into clear, achievable steps, drawing on performance experience with the National Folk Orchestra of Ireland and at the Milwaukee Irish Festival.
They have that reputation, but with the right teacher the fundamentals — bag and bellows control, chanter fingering — are achievable within the first few lessons.

No. Most students start on a practice chanter, which is inexpensive, before investing in a full set.
Yes. Grace teaches pipers internationally over video — this is one of the few places in the world you can get championship-level piping tuition remotely.
